This ≠ That. Learning to tell the difference and why it matters.

Here are a bunch of things I used to conflate.
They sound the same but they feel completely different.

1. Nice ≠ Kind
Nice is agreeable. Kind is generous.
One is about being liked. The other is about caring.

2. Hard Work ≠ Constant Friction
Hard work builds. Friction drains.
Progress doesn’t always mean struggle.

3. Easy ≠ Ease
Easy is the path of least resistance. Ease is the result of alignment.
One is passive. The other is powerful.

4. Busy ≠ Productive
Busy fills your calendar. Productive fills your cup.
It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters.

5. Confidence ≠ Certainty
Confidence is moving forward anyway. Certainty is needing guarantees.
One is brave. One is afraid of being wrong.

6. Change ≠ Growth
Change is inevitable. Growth is intentional.
It’s not just about what shifts but how you shape it
laborum.
